5+ years of professional experience

Demonstrated experience applying statistical and/or machine learning techniques, preferably in the financial industry

Significant experience (ideally at least 5 years of experience) working in a quantitative group covering investment and/or trading businesses

Experience in credit markets, or at least in a fixed-income environment

Supporting syndication efforts by working with trading and other sales teams to identify opportunities in offsetting risk management

Collect, manage and analyze data related to industry trends and client trading activity

Interacting with CRMA, Legal and Ops teams internally to help enhance client experience and seamless trade execution

Strong academic record with minimum Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or a related discipline

Working experience with Excel and other Microsoft Office products

Ability to multi-task, manage competing priorities and work well under pressure

Assist the trading desk in daily operational activities like quoting bids and offers, trade bookings, risk management, and PNL reporting

Accurately maintain fixed price and vol curves for natural gas

Support the sales desk in pricing and executing transactions

Maintain and build analytical and fundamental models used for analyzing and understanding the Natural Gas markets

Assist the desk in performing scenario analyses and back tests related to natural gas calendar spreads in python

Keeping abreast of fundamental and regulatory changes and analyzing their potential market impact

Strong project management skills and the ability to coordinate activities within complex organizations.

Understand knowledge gaps and educational needs

Provide technical consulting services, including technical assistance needed, process requirements definition, documentation, training needs, and support qualification process

Understand supply chain needs and requirements

Meet with potential Southern Tier supplier candidates and supplier candidates beyond the Southern Tier to discuss requirements and access interest

5 years industry experience in manufacturing engineering or design engineering.

Help oversee the governance framework of regulatory change management program, includes tracking metrics and reporting

Execute various reporting for senior management (both in excel and PowerPoint)

Assist in the development and ongoing maintenance of the technology platforms that support the CRA and regulatory change management programs

Related coursework and/or work experience preferred

Exceptional judgment skills– ability to identify and effectively escalate potential issues
