Global Banking & Markets Natural Gas Fundamentals Research New York Analyst

Brief Role Description

• Producing in-depth research that delivers market insights and help clients anticipate fundamental trends
• Providing analysis and commentary of global natural gas and coal balances, weather forecasts, and global energy market developments
• Conducting rapid analysis of market disrupting events to assist traders identify and assess the latest market risks
• Modeling and forecasting of supply, demand, and storage of natural gas and power in North America
• Building and updating regional gas models in coordination with Physical gas traders and Bangalore based strat team
• Optimizing analytics and ensuring data quality using Python, SQL, and Excel

Additional Qualifications

• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage internal and external relationships
• Ability to perform under fast-paced environment with tight time constraints
• Undergraduate in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or other STEM related degree
• 1 to 3 years of related experience
• Superior analytical skills and attention to detail

Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $110000-$125000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
