Participate in RC 14001 Management Review Meetings

Manage production priorities and expenditures up to authorized limits

Worth with appropriate managers to handle employee discipline up to and including termination, employee recognition, policies that effect personnel, etc.

Other duties as assigned by Manager

Bachelor’s Degree in engineering (or related field), minimum 5 years manufacturing process experience and supervisory experience preferred

Good understanding of production operations as well as strong knowledge of plant controls and instrumentation

5 years successful management experience in a manufacturing environment

Previous experience managing and achieving budgetary requirements within a department

5 years experience in the aerospace industry strongly preferred

Previous experience recommending and initiating corrective actions

Machine shop experience strongly preferred

401(k) with 3% match with no LOS requirement

Manage the manufacturing area to meet the site business strategies in line with budget targets.

Assist teams in troubleshooting manufacturing issues. Ensure staff is provided technical knowledge and training to efficiently produce the highest quality products.

Develop and manage staff through hiring, managing performance, developing talent and providing clear expectations.

Experience working with Stainless Steel Bioreactors

Business acumen coupled with functional leadership experience is required to ensure effective direction in a complex organization.

Recommend and implement ideas to reduce costs, adapt and transform the organization to meet changing business needs.
