Manufacturing Purchasing Manager Jobs in Arizona

A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, or related field or equivalent experience required.

7+ years practical, technical, and management experience.

2+ years supervisory experience and moderate exposure to Materials Management, Production Scheduling, Purchasing, Quality Control, Industrial Engineering, and Accounting.

Establish and maintain relationships with management and/or process owners for the purpose of aligning objectives and removing obstacles for process implementation.

Previous experience overseeing a large department (150+ employees) is highly desired.

Previous experience with Kaizen, continuous improvement, and lean manufacturing techniques.

Five (5) years’ experience of Management of a team or business group.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER CHARACTERISTICS

Adheres to the principles and standards of Ethical Supply Management conduct.

Manages daily activities of the purchasing group.

Analyzes demand requirements to identify supply constrained resources and recommend actions for resolution, including item attributes.

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
