Manufacturing Purchasing Manager Jobs in Indiana

Manage large scale projects across the business.

7 to 10 years experience in purchasing, supply chain, and/or procurement in a manufacturing setting.

Experience in automotive, aerospace, medical, and/or metal fabrication industries preferred.

Develop sourcing plans in alignment with strategic deployment objectives and customers.

Monitor the financial performance of quotations versus actual costs.

Evaluate employee performance throughout the year using both informal and formal coaching and evaluation processes.

Must have good organization skills. Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

Daily and weekly data entry related to MFG departments.

All MFG departments at· Procurement & Finance· Inventory Control· External Vendors

Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Must have strong problem-solving skills.

Must have MS OFFICE computer skills, especially MS Excel.

At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing management or a related field.

Experience with Lean Manufacturing, material and schedule control, and metal fabrication shop management of engineered-to-order products.

Provide leadership to improve production scheduling, inventory management system, and productivity.

Develop positive labor-management relations. Effectively communicate information throughout manufacturing. Provide manufacturing leadership in labor negotiations.

Provide leadership to meet equipment quality, delivery, and cost requirements.

Determine production requirements and adjust resources to match demand.
