Manufacturing Purchasing Manager Jobs in District of Columbia

Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders including senior management and cross-functional teams, to understand their purchasing needs and requirements.

Experience working with Asia-Pacific suppliers and Knowledge of international supply chain certifications and tariffs are a plus.

Manage and update suppliers’ lead-times, MOQ’s and payment terms.

3-5 years Purchasing or sourcing experience (preferably in the technology industry)

Strong knowledge of Microsoft excel

Knowledge of Incoterms is a plus.

Our client offers a base salary range of $80,000 to $90,000 plus bonus and all corporate benefits.

All raw material purchasing by utilizing MRP

Responsible for cycle counts of all raw materials for warehousing of raw materials including offsite warehouses

Communications with production, shipping, and QA to ensure there is sufficient materials to make orders to meet the customer’s demand

Work with R&D/Quality to identify alternate materials

Work with suppliers to negotiate the lowest costs while maintaining quality and delivery
