A Day in the Life

•5+ years managing 3PL relationships across multiple regions or countries

Support RMA management and the movement of inventory in and out of repair locations both on and off site.

Manages communication within the warehouses, carriers and the Business Units to ensure hardware is shipped and received at the correct locations.

Experience with modern ERP systems (Oracle or SAP) are preferred

U.S. People Manager (30 - 45 min)

Process flow design / optimization

Participate in kaizen events to improve flow

Work with vendors to install / uninstall rack, sprinklers, etc. as needed

Analyze inventory levels and make recommendations for scrap and/or off site storage

Define and implement alternative dense storage options (change rack profiles, bins, etc.)

Communication to leaders – need to clearly and concisely communicate (verbal, written, & ppt documents) project details

Prior experience in logistics operations, supply chain management and/or warehousing, 3PL (managing relationships) preferred.

Prior strong experience with SAP or similar business enterprise purchasing, inventory control and/or procurement management system required.

Minimum of 3 years’ with proven experience utilizing Six Sigma and/or Lean Manufacturing initiatives in production is preferred.

Certification in Six Sigma and/or Lean Manufacturing preferred

Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop and create original analysis.

Strong interpersonal and consensus building skills.

Excellent project management skills. Demonstrated abilty to perform financial analysis. Ability to ascertain and solve problems. Strong computer skills.

Identifies and prioritizes logistics needs and communicates recommendations to upper management in order to achieve efficient product distribution.

Minimum Years of Work Experience:

10+ years of experience managing military logistics operations

Knowledge of government supply chain and procurement processes

Knowledge of DoD supply chain metrics to measure operational impact of proposed solutions

Experience with DoD analytics platforms, such as ADVANA

Ability to generate specific project requirements from high level strategies
