The Opportunity:

As a logistics manager, you know that every program relies on clearly defined management processes to work. You understand the defense industrial base and know that using data and analytics is critical to ensuring the integrity of the mission. We’re looking for a logistics analyst like you to apply your engineering and process improvement expertise to develop tools for the Department of Defense. Using your knowledge in supply chain operations, contracts management, and advanced analytics, you’ll help coordinate all system elements and ensure long-lasting integration and sustainment.

As a logistics analyst on our team, you’ll provide expertise in identifying the root cause of logistics challenges that affect our clients. You’ll use your findings to create a path forward that meets system requirements and ensures functionality. Your experience is essential to ensuring quality when designing mission-critical solutions.

In this role, you’ll use your logistics and materials expertise to contribute to the safety of the warfighter. You’ll partner with senior team members and apply your skills in root-cause analysis and process improvement resolution.

You Have:

• HS diploma or GED
• Ability to communicate with senior government officials and decision makers
• 10+ years of experience managing military logistics operations
• Knowledge of government supply chain and procurement processes
• Ability to use data and analytics to solve logistics challenges
• Knowledge of DoD supply chain metrics to measure operational impact of proposed solutions
• Ability to obtain a security clearance

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with DoD analytics platforms, such as ADVANA
• Ability to generate specific project requirements from high level strategies
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,000.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
