Knowledge of Access, PowerPoint, and ACS Athletics recruiting software.

Experience in intercollegiate athletics, especially in a Division I football office.

Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsible for coordinating assigned football support operations including day-to-day operations, team travel, and programmatic structure

Works in conjunction with compliance office on items as needed

Assists in the execution of team travel

Plans and executes assigned logistics of pre-season training camp

Coordinates special events as assigned

Coordinate assigned areas of youth summer camps

Fall: August 21, 2023 – December 11, 2023

Maintains a current player roster, squad list, and player/parent ticket list at home and away games to meet compliance requirements.

Oversees and assigns off-the-field duties for student managers.

Stays abreast of compliance requirements and ensures all assigned tasks are in compliance with University, SEC Conference, and NCAA rules.

Coordinates team travel, including scheduling of practice sites, transportation, meal and hotel arrangements.

Orders and exchanges equipment for student athletes and maintains inventory control of equipment.

Consults with strength and conditioning and athletic training staff to ensure that student athletes adhere to training and nutrition regiments.

Coordinates with Event Management staff for NCAA FCS Football Championship, home, post-season contests, when applicable.

Bachelor's degree and four years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience working with budgets, tracking budgetary expenditures, providing budgetary controls and manage contract negotiations.

Develops, manages, and monitors the football program budget.

Oversight for all Video related responsibilities and activities.

Creates evaluation tool for recruiting experiences, summarizes results and makes recommendations for improvement

Use coaching techniques appropriate (based on age) for all of the skills that are taught.

Ensure an exceptional learning experience.

Thorough knowledge and understanding of the game of football

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Strong level of patience and adaptability when dealing with players of different skill level and when talking with parents

Place the emotional and physical well-being of the players ahead of a personal desire to win.

Three (3) years of experience in football operations at the collegiate or professional level.

Responsible for promoting the philosophy and objectives of the Football program, the Athletics Department and the University.

Expected to know and follow NCAA rules and regulations

Must work flexible, sometimes long hours during Football Pre-Season and Football Regular Season

Video Coordinator/Assistant Director of Football Operations

This position will interact on a regular basis with several offices within the athletic department such as:

Bachelor's degree and one (1) year of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.

Maintains a broad knowledge of state of art technology and systems as it relates to the Athletic industry.

Oversees and handles all video and technological needs for coaches as it relates to Athletic specific sports systems and equipment.

Prepares and executes a schedule of production to complete and regularly communicates progress.

Acquires films on upcoming opponents.

Produces and delivers all creative video content for weekly highlights using appropriate video editing platforms.

Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience, and administrative experience.

Must possess strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, follow up and follow through.

Must be detail oriented and possess excellent oral and written communication skills.

Knowledge of the Big Ten Football Conference and NCAA rules and regulations, particularly in regard to recruiting.

Assists with Team practice set-up and operations

Assists with Team travel coordination

Demonstrated data entry/word-processing/typing skills and working knowledge and the ability to use basic spreadsheet, word-processing, database software, and/or email.

Assists football operations staff with Teamworks database management, events, practice guests, team travel, and daily office duties.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Keeps player profiles and groups updated on team works, as well as, all travel information.

Handles practice guest check in and check out.

Provides operational support to all team events, clinics, practices, recruiting visits, and regular season games.

Manage recruiting database with data entry duties and prospective student athlete contact

Graphics skills are not required, but preference could be given to those with graphics experience

Assist ONU Football program with various recruiting/ operational duties:

Game Day Visit Operations and preparation

Plan to work approximately 10 hours a week in various recruiting/ operations duties

Follow department policies and procedures

Excellent written and oral communications skills.

Necessary computer skills such as word processing, mail merging, and desktop publishing.

Must have database manipulation knowledge.

Must have excellent interpersonal skills.

Serve as Liaison to admissions and financial aid.

Oversee recruiting depth charts for head coach.

Manage and direct GA Director of Football Operations/Player Development, Quality Control interns and student assistants and volunteers

Oversee the day-to-day operations of Eastern Illinois Football

Anticipate and satisfy all logistical needs of the football program

Coordinate team travel logistics and itineraries

Coordinate arrangements for pre-season training camp

Organize and coordinate NFL relations

1-2 years experience in college athletics or related

Excellent written and verbal skills

Proficient computer skills in multiple programs (Microsoft suite, Adobe, or similar).
