Assign and edit 3-4 daily digital stories in the autos vertical, from short-form news items to long-lead features

Edit short news items as needed to support the daily publishing schedule

Work with the autos editor and freelance contributors to produce 8-10 digital features in the autos category every week

Work with the digital director to conceive new story franchises and develop online editorial packages

1-2 years relevant experience in social media management and/or social media marketing within the food, beverage and/or hospitality industry.

Ability to exercise sound judgement, responding to consumers and guests within a brand’s voice during daily community management practices.

BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience

Extensive knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, YouTube and other relevant social media networks.

Knowledge of educational publishing products and processes, including eBook formats and learning management systems

Strong computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and other project management and budget tracking tools.

Prior experience with Content Management Systems

Expertise in documentation creation and management

Follows current trends and research on innovations and educational technology.

Proven experience managing cross-functional project teams with team members located in multiple locations.

Knowledge and experience with Adobe Premier, Photoshop and Audition a plus

Related experience and/or training considered as well as a combination of education and experience.

Previous digital editing experience required
