Primary Objective of Position:
The Digital Marketing Engagement Manager ensures that CaringBridge users are aware of and able to access all that CaringBridge can offer someone involved in a health journey (whether patient, family caregiver, author, visitor, or donor). Additionally, the Digital Marketing Engagement Manager will create and execute campaigns geared at bringing to life the CaringBridge vision: A world where no one goes through a health journey alone.

Job Role
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinates and collaborates with supervisor and other members of the marketing and revenue teams to ensure a user centric multi-channel approach to deepening engagement with CaringBridge users (e.g. content strategy, social, PR, direct mail, etc.).
- Performs related work as apparent or assigned.
- Provides fiscal support for the department by providing input for the departmental budget and manages within budget parameters to ensure financial benchmarks are met and proactive course correction is taken when necessary.
- Manages and provides strategies for multi-channel marketing automation campaigns that engage CaringBridge.org users in their current need state with 1:1 simulated communication and support.
- Establishes and sustains interactive relationships with external vendors and contacts to result in favorable networks to support the current and future goals of the organization and to benchmark practices/results to maximize organizational effectiveness.
- Manages engagement team (including Content Specialist and Email Specialist) and provides oversight of messaging channels that drive repeat visits and increases time on site and execution of CRM strategies.
- Keeps Manager/Supervisor informed of important developments, potential problems, and related information necessary for effective management. Coordinates/communicates plans and activities with others, as appropriate to ensure a coordinated work effort and team approach.
- Plans, defines and executes content strategy for sharing and promoting CaringBridge.org content and resources.
- Manages user loyalty, retention, frequency, and referral marketing cycles.
- Stays current on market, competition and trends including tactics, field concepts and practices applying them to strategies when applicable.
Experience and Qualifications:

- Excellent program and project management skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Ability to write strategic and creative briefs and lead teams in campaign or program ideation
- Knowledge of content management systems and video and picture editing software
- Knowledge of search engine marketing and search engine optimization
- Able to analyze data to help formulate, test, measure and continually optimize programs to achieve desired goals and/or to make resource allocation decisions accordingly
- Able to formulate persuasive business cases to drive organizational prioritizations
- 7-10 years of digital marketing experience, preferred to have experience in the nonprofit sector
