Construction Program Manager Jobs

Minimum 15 years program management experience or general management of large-scale maritime construction projects with P&L responsibility.

Additional duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to

Lead and support CM team and provide oversight of their individual and collective work program.

Hold stakeholders accountable for the timely delivery and quality of work.

Define risk management framework (policy, strategy, plan), establish risk management process, and organize risk management resources with leadership support.

Prepare weekly, monthly, semi-annual, and annual reports for risk data, and conduct multiple Risk Assessment Briefings for client and program management.

BS degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field

Manage program/project risk for specific clients following Cost and Schedule Risk Analysis (CSRA) and ISO 31000 guidelines.

Preferred 2 years’ experience in managing people or teams.

Experience or vast understanding of Project Controls (estimate/cost and schedule).

Considerable experience with Department construction environmental policies and procedures, highway construction practices, NEPA requirements and stormwater management regulations.

Knowledge of NEPA laws and regulations, DEQ permits and regulations, FHWA policies, construction management techniques, and environmental compliance reporting requirements.

Manage staff and direct the work of others;

Demonstrated ability to interpret environmental permits, NEPA documents, highway construction plans, specifications, contracts, standards and policies;

Be a productive member of a team as part of various working groups;

Develop and implement programs, policies, procedures, and long-range goals;

Technical Knowledge: Read CAD and composite drawings, budget management, budget analysis, GANTT charts, schedule adherence.

IT manager that works on IT part of building.

Industry experience is preferred, but not a must.

Job Title: Construction Project/Program Manager I

Location: Remote, with Travel to Sites

Aggregate, travel will be ¾ weeks per month. Traveling Monday-Thursday.

·Conduct regular reviews with the client for accountability and successful management of the project

Job Title: Owner’s Representative – Program Manager, Healthcare Construction

Five years of experience in developing, implementing, and managing safety programs, accident prevention, loss control and/or risk management.

Bachelor’s Degree in occupational safety, loss control, risk management or related field.

Provides safety related training on reporting requirements, methods and report writing, recommends and implements remedial measures to prevent recurrences.

Six years of construction experience.

40 Hour HAZWOPER certification required.

Possess current qualifications in First Aid, Adult CPR and AED, as well as Blood-borne Pathogens.

Expertise in the use of Procore for project management.

General knowledge of Salt Lake City and the State of Utah procurement requirements as they relate to design and construction.

Broad knowledge of planning, programming and scheduling procedures for design and construction of infrastructure projects.

Working knowledge of common industry software and products such as Autodesk AutoCAD, Microsoft Office products, Smartsheet, Cartegraph,, Workday and Primavera.

Experience with a diverse range of project types in the disciplines of Architecture, Landscape Architecture and Civil Engineering.

Experience with developing cost estimates for a wide range of project types.

Knowledge of the construction management process including relevant rules, regulations, quality, and safety standards.

Experience with bidding work, developing work scopes, subcontractor management, project scheduling and cost reporting.

Strong communication, leadership, and management skills.

Starting salary is dependent upon qualifications, but in most cases is no higher than the midpoint for range.

Must possess seven (7) or more years’ construction experience.

Possession of an OSHA 30-hour certification preferred.

A minimum 4 years of experience within construction program management/ PMO.

Responsible for the management of resource planning and resource forecasting aligned to the strategic business case or capital investment plan.  

Oversight of management, identification, and implementation of connect projects mitigation plans identified for critical risks and opportunities.  

Oversight of the management, identification and implementation of strategic and program improvement initiatives, lessons learnt and best practice.
