This role, due to the business needs of the team, requires employees to be physically present in the specified office (San Francisco) on a full-time basis. This helps to ensure you are best equipped to be successful and have the experience you need to fulfill the responsibilities of the role.


LinkedIn’s Global Workplace organization is responsible for designing and delivering facilities and services that reflect LinkedIn’s culture to create an environment where people love to come to work, interact with their colleagues, and deliver exceptional results. We are looking for an extraordinary manager who has substantial hands-on experience managing vendors & building productive relationships with internal clients. The Workplace Site Manager reports to the AMER-West Regional Workplace Manager.


Responsibilities:


  • Independently drives Facilities Management service provider to ensure engineering, general repairs & maintenance, shipping & receiving and move operations are efficient, effective and meet the contractual obligations and according to service level agreements and key performance indicators in alignment with local team priorities.
  • Provide creative solutions by liaising with workplace program managers (food & beverage, design & build, security, and occupancy planning) to create clear communication and transparency regarding requirements for building operations, vendor performance, small capital projects and cross-functional coordination.
  • Collaborate with company organizational leadership to identify emerging facilities and equipment requirements for supporting our current and future operations.
  • Proactively identify and recommend opportunities that focus on cost reductions, efficiencies, quality improvement, risk mitigation, industry, as well as supply trends and other relevant factors.
  • Capable of implementing and coordinating Workplace initiatives and programs at the site level.
  • Maintain facilities policies and procedures that ensure they meet the most current regulatory requirements by having knowledge and understanding of markets and industry.
  • Proactively identifies and recommends CAPEX projects to our Project/Design Managers.
  • Ensure critical small projects and reconfigurations are managed successfully with outstanding client service and communication, coordinating with all relevant stakeholders and teams to scope, schedule and budget.
  • Ensure timely and quality delivery to clients and follow up to guarantee satisfaction by vendor partners.
  • Coordinate Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) programs to ensure compliance and effective execution for emergency preparedness, regulatory compliance and employee advocacy.
  • Be a trusted partner with internal communications department to establish a program that includes a process for and methods of communication to employees.
  • Responsible for the development and delivery of all workplace services at LinkedIn’s San Francisco, CA Location.
  • Assist with all aspects of financial management including budget adherence and the ongoing forecasting of operating expenses and capital projects.


Qualifications


Basic Qualifications:


  • Experience with a demonstrated background of vendor management for facility related services.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of management experience in a commercial high-rise, campus environment or property portfolio management experience.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Proactive collaborator. Capable of working with others to find solutions to complex problems.
  • MA/MS degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work with and effectively influence all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent partnership and alignment skills with key global stakeholders.
  • Superior written and oral communications skills and the ability to deal effectively with people.
  • Industry related certifications (CFM, FMA) desirable
  • Strong financial acumen.
  • Ability to think critically and creatively to address various workplace-related challenges.
  • Demonstrated experience as a leader.
  • Exceptional background in vendor management.
  • Able to understand and immerse oneself with the unique LinkedIn culture to ensure Workplace strategy and plans in proper alignment.
  • Proficiency in creating and overseeing preventative/corrective maintenance programs.
  • Willingness to work in a dynamic environment with changing priorities and evolving workplace needs.
  • Extensive experience managing key outsourced service providers and vendors to provide effective solutions.
  • 10+ years of facility management specializing in evolving real estate strategies.
  • Manage and lead change to ensure minimum disruption to core activities.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute complex projects on schedule and on budget.

The pay range for this role is $105,000 to $165,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
