We are accepting application for our Work Instructions Technicina. This position is responsible for creating and maintaining work instructions and/or other general technical writing and proofreading of formal engineering documents and manuals.
Responsibilities Include

• Creates and modifies work instructions from applicable engineering technical data, drawings, build notes and test procedures
• Conforms to ISO procedures and ESD policies
• Builds, examines, understands, and describes in writing the components and construction of assemblies, lists step by step instructions and describes how we maintain service
• Maintains configuration control of work instructions within work instructions software
• Maintains a safe working environment and ensures compliance with safety objectives and policies
• Provides support and training to Operations on usage of Work Instructions, updates, or any other changes to processes
• Shares responsibility of self-development with immediate supervisor
• Works closely with Operations department to optimize manufacturing processes and document within work instructions and standard operating procedures
• The goal for this individual is to have zero OBF’s to the performance of their job function.
• Works closely with Quality department performing audits to ensure accuracy of documentation, processes, and procedures
• Software proficiencies to include: Inventor, VKS, Microsoft Word, Excel and Visio
• Works closely with both Operations and Engineering departments to capture accurate and repeatable instructions
• Updates documentation as needed in response to audit findings
• Updates existing instructions as required and helps maintain the work instructions library within work instructions software

Requires

• Miscellaneous: Microsoft Word required. Understanding of technical drawings and manufacturing is helpful.
• Physical: Some standing, lifting, carrying, etc.
• Education: High school diploma or its equivalent. Associate degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or related field recommended.
• Experience: Six months manufacturing experience or computer hardware assembly recommended.

Employment is contingent upon passing a required background screen, pre-employment drug screen and physical which will be conducted upon acceptance of an offer.
