Service Operations & Maintenance is looking for a new graduate engineer with skillsets in wireless networks. The selected candidate must demonstrate knowledge in wireless RAN network architecture. Candidate must have excellent customer service soft-skills, and be able to work in fast pace environment, via the phone.
Accountabilities
- Able to troubleshoot via telephone or any other video conference tool
- Must have customer service soft skills
- Perform health check on all the wireless hardware and software components
- Perform wireless hardware baseline configurations verification
- Understand wireless network issues and applications
- Execute automated test scripts in a lab and production environment
- Execute validation test plans on hardware
Qualifications
Required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience working with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering with RF principals
- General understanding of standard networking protocols and components such as HTTP, DNS, SRV6, and TCP/IP.
- Strong and detailed analytical abilities and technical writing skills
- Provide in-depth technical log analysis, check network configuration, and support customer as needed
- Must be able to travel a 25% of the time, or as needed
- Understanding of 4G or 5G network architecture
- Cellular/Mobile Technology proficiency in 4G/5G and NR theory
- Provide 24/7 support as needed for commercial Network outages and network performance issues
Desired
- Some experience with RF carrier developments
- Cisco router knowledge a Plus+
