This role will assist in the customer service and administrative functions to help grow the North American business. The Wholesale Assistant will provide overall support to the wholesale team with the below responsibilities:

The Role

• Assist and report to the Account Executives to ensure all department functions and targets are met on a seasonal basis.
• Help with market setup and pack up - including but not limited to: showroom setup, scheduling appointments, sample preparation, line sheet development, swatch book organization, pricing logs, stock kitchen, etc.
• Develop full understanding of company systems- such as Prima, B2B, Omnivue, ClarityQB
• Prepare training material for product knowledge clinics as requested by Account Executives, and support AEs when out in the field.
• Manage sample trafficking for wholesale. Complete all necessary paperwork including creating and accurately filling out shipping documentation (national and international).
• Assist with ad-hoc reporting as needed.
• Assist with wholesale market appointments upon request.
• Complete order entry ensuring it’s submitted by agreed deadlines and that all orders are cross referenced and checked for errors (including but not limited to: order dates, size scales, specific shipping and invoice requirements) and escalate discrepancies to line manager as needed.
• Any other related duties, not specified above, as outlined by your Management.
• Ensure merchandising standards are maintained in the showroom at all times and assist with appointments as needed.
• Accompany the Sr. AE/AE when visiting department stores to product knowledge clinics when needed.
• Update Sr AE/AE on product shipping status by reviewing shipping reports provided by Logistics/ Operations team.
• Assist in responding to client requests and questions. Provide service to accounts on a day to day basis (i.e. stock replenishment, return authorizations, and product information) while accurately completing the necessary documents.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Previous experience working with international shipments and documentation.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel (formulas, v lookups, pivot tables).
• Working knowledge of sample trafficking systems and reporting. Experience working with Prima and Mosaic a plus.
• 1-2 years working experience in a luxury wholesale environment (internship experience in wholesale is relevant)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills/ comfortable speaking and writing with personnel at all levels.
• Able to accommodate for longer hours and weekend work when needed for market.
• Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills a must.
