Title: Merchandise Manager, DKNY Footwear

Reporting to: President | DKNY Footwear

Location: (On-Site) New York City, Midtown Manhattan – Fashion District

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales, Design and Product Development to execute seasonal assortment plans from concept to creation that are brand appropriate.
• Analyze sales, feedback and historical data on weekly/monthly/seasonal basis in order to impact assortment for future seasons.
• Manage seasonal buys hindsight’s to better understand channel specific needs and opportunities.
• Adhere to seasonal development calendar, managing team meetings and deadlines.
• Knowledgeable on competitive landscape, identifying trends and staying on top of newness in market. Using findings to identify holes in the current business and opportunities for future growth.
• Work with Manager in creating and developing assortment plans on a seasonal basis for department store and off price channel.

Qualifications

• Ability to multi-task and work/partner with multiple departments at all levels.
• Ability to take initiative and ownership for business.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, presentation and problem solving skills.
• 5+ years in positions with relevant experience.
• Knowledge of retail math.
• Strong strategic planning and analytical skills.
• Proficient in excel, word and power point.
• Experience working in a merchandising environment or a similar category.

Educational Background:

· College degree, or equivalent professional work experience, required

The pay range for this position is: $85k per year - $110k per year.
