Position Summary:
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for analysis and utilization of continuous improvement tools to design Supply Chain solutions in current and future Warehouse, Fulfillment, and Distribution Operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the rapport building with all current vendors and the procurement of new vendors
- Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
- Analyze logistics data, using methods such as data mining, data modeling, or cost or benefit analysis
- Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization
- Advises the Director of Logistics & Distribution on any pertinent information that would inhibit the flow of daily fulfillment
- Implement safety procedures and standards in all warehouse operations

- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Maintain payment systems to ensure accuracy of vendor payments
- Responsible for the development, mentoring, and accountability of all warehouse employees
- Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
- Analyze logistics data, using methods such as data mining, data modeling, or cost or benefit analysis
- Contact potential vendors to determine material availability
- Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement
- Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
- Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
- Provide analysis and decision making around distribution network processes and advancements

Experience and Minimum Qualifications:
- 5 to 10 years of proven work experience as a warehouse manager
- Ability to juggle various work activities and shift their attention from one task to another to meet the demands of different stakeholders without “dropping the ball”.
- Holding oneself responsible and being self-driven in accomplishing business goals, adhering to policies and being responsible for one’s own actions, performance, and decisions.
- Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
- Ability to communicate effectively, to recognize, understand, and manage one’s own emotions as well as others, and foster positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Apply active listening skills through the ability to comprehend information presented and respond thoughtfully.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and/or Access).
- Ability to logically connect ideas, scrutinize and evaluate arguments, find inconsistencies and errors in work, solve complex problems, and engage in reflection.
- Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
- Detail-oriented and can focus on the task at hand, no matter how minute, by finding the most efficient and effective pathway to completion.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy, team-oriented environment and have a “roll up your sleeves” and “today not tomorrow” mentality.
- Ability to provide timely and empathetic help through in-person, phone, email, and social media avenues that keeps the co-worker or customer’s needs at the forefront of every interaction.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for communicating with internal and external parties in a manner that is both articulate and professional.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:
- Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives

- Normal Office Environment
- Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
