Reporting to the Texas Division President/CEO, the VP Physician Enterprise (VPPE) for the Texas Division is responsible for ensuring a unified, integrated, patient centric, and high performing clinical operations. Works closely with President/CEO to develop the operations of the Texas Division Physician Enterprise, including systems, metrics and dashboards to enhance quality, productivity, utilization, outcomes and cost management. Ensures a consistent execution of key support, systems, and processes that make effective use of organizational resources to achieve the Texas Division’s Physician Enterprise strategy and goals. The VPPE is responsible for the development of and provides the leadership that drives the integration of organizational strategic plan with operations across the Texas Division. The VPPE is responsible for ensuring consistent and standardized operations across all Texas Division Physician Enterprise regions and clinical sites. The VPPE is responsible for the management and oversight of Texas Division enterprise-wide operational support positions, departments, and service lines.

Responsibilities
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Prepares, in conjunction with the CEO and CFO, the annual operating budget, including internal financial controls and
- Ensures that high quality, satisfying, and affordable care is provided by the acquisition, utilization and organization of human, financial, technical and physical resources.
- Leads a culture of safety, ensuring transparency in reporting and disclosure of incidents in a timely manner of all care centers within assigned responsibility. Ensures care center leadership promotes a proactive culture for reporting issues and concerns and is conducting required drills and/or trainings, as well as supports and executes any associated improvement or action plans.
- Ensures functions are organized through establishing clear accountabilities and decision rights, delegation of duties, and appropriate departmentalization without creating silos.
- Ensures the integration of operational activities with organizational-wide initiatives to drive alignment, standardization, and to streamline and increase operational efficiency.
- Directs the development of plans designed to increase volume, market share and contribution margin in alignment with strategy PI, Service Area, and Hospital market goals.
- Establishes and communicates performance metrics, goals, priorities, and holds self, team, and individuals accountable.
- Ensures the Texas Physician Enterprise meets/exceeds financial performance targets.
- Ensures clinics comply with all regulatory requirements.
- Provides leadership for all aspects of operations, including care center productivity, patient satisfaction/experience, staff and provider satisfaction/experience, hospital relations, and community efforts.
- Fosters effective collaboration between clinical areas/departments to ensure an integrated approach to providing services.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in business, finance or healthcare administration or related field,or equivalent combination of experience and education. Master's degree in business, finance or healthcare administration or related field.
Minimum Experience
- Superior leadership experience, particularly in cultivating a high-performing team, and in developing and maintaining excellent relations with physicians and staff at all levels.
- Track record of progressive development of ambulatory clinics and physician practices. Managed care experience is required.
- Minimum of ten years of accomplished healthcare leadership experience.
- Proficiency and experience with systems, particularly EHRs
- Experience in a large, complex and integrated healthcare delivery system.
