Job Summary:
The Vice President (VP) of Quality oversees the department of Infection Prevention and directs the activities of surveillance of nosocomial infections, monitoring trends; initiating problem solving, analyzing outcomes, and compiling statistics.
  • Drives the organization to improve value, prevent unnecessary readmissions, overuse of testing or procedures, and reduce costs.
  • Oversees the infection control program and the patient safety program, including incident reporting, root cause analyses, sentinel event reporting, failure mode analyses, systems design, failure modes and effects analysis, and proactive staff training and education.
Requirements:
  • Experience in healthcare quality or process improvement preferred.
  • Experience with Risk Management.
  • Advanced specialty certification needs to be obtained within 90 days of hire date.
  • 5 years clinical experience required.
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license within state of practice.
  • 3-4 years quality/performance required.
  • BSN required; Master’s degree required. MSN preferred.
