• Maintains proper inventories of food service items
• Prepares, and periodically updates, a variety of menu selections for each meal catering to an array of tastes and preferences
• Skills are typically acquired through trade specific training for cooking and chef's certification, plus 5-7 years experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry
• Job tasks, correctly performed, have minimal impact on the viability of the organization
• Plans all food services personnel work schedules on a weekly basis
• Provides the planning necessary for each party including instructions to the cooks and food service workers
• Prepares weekly menus for timely submission to the Recreational Camp Manager for review and approval
• Maintains all equipment and cooking utensils in proper working condition
• Under direct supervision, coordinates and oversees the service line work of the food services crew providing quality food and service to the facility host and guests
