You’re a seasoned Wholesale professional, used to the level of responsibility required to lead the Wholesale team of a growing, fast paced brand. Long term strategy & building systems & an organization that will be able to scale is your passion. Your skills are executive level, and you know how to ensure regional plans align with global strategy. You get the Dr. Martens brand and are excited to support the team in enhancing Dr. Martens’ footprint in the Americas region.


THE GIG

Wholesale and B2B is a key channel for the Americas region – it is how the region grew over the last decade. It is absolutely key with our strategy for growth, that we partner with the best, most relevant brands to reach more consumers. We have great plans to develop further our brand presence and presentation, enhancing consumer experience.

  • Lead & develop a team to ensure high levels of performance, engagement, and professional growth
  • Partner collaboratively with Americas Leadership Team and Global Leadership Team to represent Americas B2B business from a regional and global leadership perspective
  • Lead, manage sales organization to meet, exceed brand, business strategic objectives of the brand
  • Create sustainable distribution footprint in the US, Canada markets. Maintain brand, business health, creating pull market through the DM4 lens
  • Strong team player, leader, creating collaboration with rest of the cross functional departments w/in the brand. Strong communicator with internal/external teams
  • Lead marketplace health and leadership through product segmentation plan execution, assortment leadership in market. Execute & monitor strong sales to stock metrics in markets
  • Develop & lead market leading strategic partnerships with key customers in the US and Canada markets. Create brand right sustainable customer partnerships
  • Work collaboratively with VP Product and Marketing to ensure best in class market management from a brand and marketing perspective
  • Create & lead strategic key accounts development for the brand, creating health in all channels of distribution for the future. SBP for rolling 5 years to set strong future foundation
  • Meet & exceed strategic, financials objectives for the brand and region, including financial targets, brand space targets & consumer reach in marketplace
  • Build, develop, and manage a large sales team to achieve goals that contribute to the growth of the organization
  • Lead, provide market expertise for B2B for the global brand and organization with strong expertise, creating global connectivity for global and regional account base health, harmony
  • Create best in class footprint of pinnacle level of distribution for consumer connection in the US & Canadian markets.

  • MS Office systems knowledge a must
  • Strong retail math leadership, ability to understand retail, wholesale KPI's, metrics, leading customer business models required
  • Ability to work at a standard computer set up 40+ hours per week, with or without accommodations
  • International travel: up to 15%; domestic travel: up to 40%
  • Proven experience in the wholesale arena; strong network and relationships
  • Strong strategic planning skills
  • Advanced negotiation skillsets with demonstrated experience
