In short


As the Head of Americas Supply Chain at On, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain operations across On’s largest region which consists of Canada, Latin America and the Caribbean, and the United States. With a focus on Logistics and Distribution, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational efficiency, ensuring timely delivery of products, and fostering collaboration among various stakeholders at our regional headquarters in Portland, Oregon USA and global headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland. Reporting to the Head of Operations, Americas, we are looking for a leader with a strong strategic mindset, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of supply chain management.


Your Mission


  • Develop and implement the logistics strategy for the Americas region, aligning it with overall organizational goals. - Identify opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and increased operational efficiency for all sales channels (Ecomm, Wholesale, Retail). - Continuously review and optimize supply chain processes in partnership with peers and direct team, including demand forecasting, procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution. - Implement best practices to streamline operations and enhance overall supply chain performance with the end customer in mind as we create the industry standard for ease of doing business. - Build and lead a high-performing team. Provide clear direction, set performance objectives, and foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. - Establish strong relationships with key logistics partners within our 3PL network. Negotiate regional contracts, monitor performance metrics, and ensure timely delivery of our apparel, accessories, and footwear products. Proactively identify opportunities and mitigate risks in the network as we scale. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply with demand, minimizing stockouts and excess inventory. - Identify and assess potential risks within the supply chain, such as disruptions, capacity constraints, and geopolitical factors. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize the impact on cross-functional teams including customer service, sales, finance, and marketing. - Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure regional supply chain performance. In partnership with your team, regularly analyze data, generate insightful reports, and present findings to senior management. Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on data-driven insights.


Your story


  • Deep knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes, including demand planning, procurement, logistics, and distribution. Experience working with 3PL/4PL partners is a plus! - Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve goals. - 10+ years experience in supply chain management, preferably in a leadership role within a multinational organization in the CPG industry. - 5+ years direct experience building and managing a team - Strong business acumen and strategic thinker with the ability to align supply chain initiatives with broader organizational objectives, including experience aligning to a go-to-market calendar and process. - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels across time zones. - Proficiency in supply chain management software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. - Knowledge of regional regulatory requirements, trade compliance, and import/export regulations. - Ability to travel up to 20% of the time both domestically and internationally, as business requires.
