Job Description
At Tagup, we use machine learning to make the machines that power the world safer, more reliable, and more efficient. As a rapidly scaling AI/ML technology company, we are looking to expand our team.

Tagup Inc. is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Vice President (VP) of Marketing to join our rapidly growing team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in B2B SaaS marketing leadership, with a proven track record of driving growth and scaling marketing efforts in the technology sector.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the founding team to align marketing initiatives with overall company goals and objectives.
  • Continuously analyze marketing metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, adjusting strategies and tactics as needed to optimize results.
  • Grow, manage, and lead the marketing team, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance evaluations.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key industry partners, influencers, and media contacts to increase brand visibility and credibility.
  • Oversee all aspects of marketing operations, including demand generation, product marketing, content marketing, public relations, social media, and events.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth for our innovative industrial equipment AI platform, Manifest.
  • Manage the marketing budget, allocating resources to ensure cost-effective marketing campaigns and a high ROI.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge in the market.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive revenue growth and customer acquisition.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to marketing decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience managing marketing teams, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor team members.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • 10+ years of experience in B2B marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the SaaS or technology industry.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AI or machine learning technologies, and their applications in the industrial equipment sector.
  • Experience managing remote or geographically distributed teams.
  • A strong network of industry contacts and media relationships.
  • Strong understanding of the industrial equipment sector and the unique challenges faced by manufacturers in this industry.
