Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated VP of Brand with at least 5-8 years of professional experience to lead our branding and marketing efforts. The VP of Brand will be responsible for developing and executing branding strategies that increase brand recognition, loyalty, and revenue. Reporting to the CEO and President, you will be a crucial part of the executive team, providing strategic creative direction and guidance to cross-functional teams.

The VP of Brand will oversee the development of brand messaging, positioning, and identity, ensuring that they are consistent across all marketing channels. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute a branding strategy across social media, physical products, events and other verticals where the brand touches the customer.

To be successful in this role, you must have a deep understanding of branding and marketing best practices, as well as experience managing cross-functional teams. You must be a strategic thinker with a track record of developing and executing successful branding campaigns. Additionally, you must be a strong communicator and collaborator, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive brand strategy that aligns with the company's overall mission and values.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute marketing campaigns that align with the brand strategy and drive business results.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in branding, marketing, and consumer behavior to ensure the brand remains relevant and competitive.
  • Develop and manage the brand's digital presence, including website design, social media profiles, other online assets, physical products, labels, merch and other relevant merchandise
  • Define the brand's messaging and positioning to differentiate it from competitors and appeal to target audiences.
  • Manage the brand's budget and allocate resources effectively to achieve business objectives.
  • Develop and manage a brand style guide that ensures all marketing materials are on-brand and aligned with the brand strategy.
  • Establish metrics to measure the effectiveness of branding initiatives and make data-driven decisions to optimize performance.
  • Create a brand identity system that includes visual elements, such as logos, typography, and color schemes, that are consistent across all marketing channels.


Minimum qualifications:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • 5-8 years of experience as a VP of Brand or similar role
  • Experience developing and executing successful branding strategies
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with creative agencies and vendors
  • Experience managing budgets and allocating resources effectively
  • Experience in the health and wellness supplement industry
  • Master's degree in Marketing, Design/Merchandising, or related field
