We are excited to bring on additional leadership to help us pave the path ahead. The VP, Director of Project Management will be instrumental in elevating the PM’s expertise, while also helping our agency take on more complex workstreams.


The VP, Director of Project Management is not afraid to think outside the box, proposing new solutions to department- and agency-wide challenges, and are always looking to optimize by questioning what's currently in place even when things seem set in stone. They are a senior leader, overseeing a significant portion of the agency from a process, operations, and people management perspective. This person is ultimately responsible for the success of their direct reports and for pulling through the operational vision from top to bottom. In addition to leading and motivating the project management team, they are part of the higher-level team that sets the tone for day-to-day inner workings, manages expectations of internal teams and client, and ultimately ensures a positive, productive atmosphere.

Specific responsibilities include :
  • Workflow Design – engineer a better path forward. Is it agile, waterfall, or a combination of the two? …or something completely different? What can we apply to our current agency processes that will put the right task in the right hands at the right time?
  • Provide mentorship on the governance of all projects managed by the Project Management team (i.e., ensuring compliance with agency standards AND client standards)
  • Managerial mentorship – further developing the PMs so that they can grow into strong client and brand advocates. This role is responsible for team development and demonstrating the fine art of collaboration. This includes talent acquisition, performance management activities, and ongoing career development. This role is accountable for mentoring and training efforts for all levels of PM staff and in all aspects of their function but as importantly, growing our team into strong leaders
  • Business Management – time and budget management is an important skill set and we need a leader who can help model and train their team to identify and escalate issues to mitigate financial risk
  • Establishing standards – these exist but require a refreshed perspective and modern approach to ensure all teams understand that strong standards lead to success. We need consistency and rigor, but also the ability to think creatively on how to manage a challenge
  • Scoping and Staffing – teaching the team to think through the business objectives as part of the brand leadership team(s) and ensuring we have the right people and the right action plan in place for success


Requirements :


  • Minimum 3 years directly managing a cross-functional team
  • PMO platform and timeline management experience (examples include, but not limited to, HIVE, Workfront, Monday, etc.)
  • Ability to apply leading-edge project management philosophy, tools, and techniques to our deliverables
  • Build constructive relationships to foster collaboration and cross-functional thinking
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships to gain trust and respect
  • 10+ years’ project management experience, with recent practice leading/managing a team and supervising execution of day-to-day deliverables
  • Proven track record of hiring, developing, and retaining staff . Enhances the professional development and growth of team members
  • Advertising agency experience required, healthcare industry or professional services firm strongly desired
  • Creative, innovative, enthusiastic problem solver demonstrating influencing skills; exhibits strong mentoring, teamwork, and client service orientation
  • Experience across digital development and delivery of multi-channel tactics (such as: websites, apps, emails, banner ads, CMS, Veeva)
  • Demonstrated experience in organizational workflow development and change management
  • Polished and succinct verbal and written communication skills. Engage regularly with the account services, creative, tech, client and strategy teams. Provide proactive updates to the agency Executive Leadership Teams
  • Strong financial/budget management experience required. Can develop annual SOW’s and staffing plans, as well as monitor resource utilization and profitability for the agencies


The range below represents the low and high end of the base salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of an Omnicom Health Group company in the United States. Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience, training, associated responsibilities, and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.


  • $126,000 - $160,500
