Responsibilities

·Oversee and maintains all aspects of the computer infrastructure including but not limited to the installation, configuration and administration of VMware vSphere suite, Windows Server, and Linux.

·Administration of Cloud-based infrastructures including VMware Cloud on AWS, Azure is desired.

·Perform firmware updates. system upgrades, and patch management.

·Install, configure, and troubleshoot various enterprise applications.

·Management of data center hardware including HPE BladeSystem c7000, HPE Synergy.

·Management of IT infrastructure using HPE OneView, 3PAR Store SERV, VMware vCenter.

·Performs systems backups and recovery. Maintain data files and monitor systems configuration and ensure data integrity.

·Provide OS Support (RH Linux and Windows).

·Responsible for the deployment and management of enterprise storage solutions including HP 3Par, Infinidat, Isilon.

·Implementation, configuration, and management of Storage Area Networks (SAN)

·Knowledge of Business Continuity (BC) and Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies and implementation. Cloud Disaster Recovery experience is desired. Prefer VMware Cloud Disaster Recovery (VCDR).

·Analyze server performance metrics and produce performance-based reports.

·Other related duties as mutually agreed upon and assigned.

Skills Needed

5 years of strong technical experience in VMware Technology and Systems Administration working in a large enterprise environment.

System Administration & Virtualization services involving VMware 6.7 and 7.0 in the K-12, other public sectors, or private sector.
