Jr. Systems Administrator Jobs

The Jr. Systems Administrator has the responsibility for all functions associated with the Technology Services Department’s organizational support infrastructure, including collaborating with IT Manager in the design and development of current and future architectural direction of the systems and programs, installation and maintenance of the network, web development servers, applications and maintenance, and user support and training. Performs highly technical tasks by applying a broad range of knowledge and expertise of principles, practices, procedures and guidelines for a particular function or for more difficult and complex assignments; assists in the development and design of smaller projects; works independently on small or large projects; solves all but the most difficult or complex problems and issues.

This position will work at our office in Carmichael, CA.

Qualifications, Education and Experience:

• Charter School/School experience a plus.
• Three (3) years experience in server systems operations, web development software, database maintenance, operations and/or maintenance, project management, and/or telecommunications software is required.
• Any combination of education, training and experience equivalent to possession of a bachelor's degree that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as described, with coursework in computer science, management information systems or related fields. A typical qualifying background would include technology certifications and progressively responsible duties including developing technology support programs for schools, training of teachers and support staff in the use of hardware and application software, and troubleshooting hardware and software problems.

Pay: $6,446.00 - $9,167.00 per month
