Overview Vmware Operations is a specialized role within the IT industry that focuses on the management and maintenance of virtualized environments. This role requires a deep understanding of the Vmware suite of products, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise. The Vmware Operations role is responsible for ensuring that the virtualized environment is running optimally and efficiently. Detailed Job Description The Vmware Operations role is responsible for the day-to-day management and maintenance of the Vmware environment. This includes the installation, configuration, and maintenance of the Vmware suite of products, as well as the troubleshooting and resolution of any issues that may arise. The Vmware Operations role is also responsible for the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to the Vmware environment. Job Skills Required
• Extensive knowledge of the Vmware suite of products
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies
• Knowledge of networking and storage technologies
• Knowledge of scripting and automation technologies
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in a Vmware Operations role
• VCP certification
• CCNA certification

• Knowledge of the Vmware suite of products
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies
• Knowledge of networking and storage technologies
• Knowledge of scripting and automation technologies
Job Experience
• 5+ years of experience in a Vmware Operations role
