Job Description
Position Overview:
The Video Production and Game Entertainment Coordinator manages and handles all elements related to game entertainment, promotions and supports all video production operations. This role is responsible for the “feel” we provide our guests in our stadium during games, as it relates to entertainment elements and promotional elements that drive attendance.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Acts as the lead and point of contact for theme night licenses.
  • In conjunction with Director of Stadium Operations, manage relationship with pyro company; directly manage scheduling, choreography and theme of all fireworks shows
  • Schedule and execute all on-field promotions, including hiring, training and managing the seasonal staff associated.
  • Manages mascot related activities and the mascot program.
  • Engages in the collaboration of creating the gameday scripts.
  • Plan and manage the yearly promotional budget and engage in the ordering and management of all promotional items for each season.
  • Coordinate all pre-game and post-game events, including, national anthems, first pitches, pre-game recognitions and other guest/partner related experiences.
  • Schedule all entertainment acts and game day appearances as coordinated with theme nights and promotions.
  • Research and generate innovative and entertaining concepts and ideas related to game entertainment and ballpark atmosphere.
  • Works closely with video content coordinator and acts as a co-leader in our video production department to coordinate and ensure all Daktronics display boards content is delivered flawlessly and equipment is functioning properly.
  • Responsible for developing and implementing a high energy, upbeat and fun atmosphere to attract fans and provide them with enhanced entertainment in the ballpark
  • Executes and creates all elements within the promotional schedule and daily promotions working closely with marketing leadership.
  • Work with video content coordinator and client services coordinator to ensure all day of game scripts are executed.
  • Acts as a point person and support on video production elements. This means this individual supports the video production room in games, hires staff and acts as a backup for our game day video production management during the season.
  • Manage relationship with stadium audio company.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Technical skills and knowledge with video board content and management.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Self-starter, proactive, highly motivated.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines.
  • Must be able to manage and work with all types of people.
  • Three years of experience in team promotions preferred.
  • Must be willing to work the entire game schedule during the season without any hesitation.
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud programs a plus: Premier, Photoshop, After Effects and Media Encoder.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or an applicable area preferred.
  • Must be able to evaluate various forms of entertainment for guests and fans.
