About This Role:
The Video Production Specialist is primarily responsible for pre-production and production of our marketing and training videos. They will be the lead videographer and producer, as well as a capable editor of videos to efficiently create a library and keyword creation as well as basic string outs and rough-cut shot assemblies.

- The Video Production Specialist position is a remote role, but candidate must be within reasonable commuting distance of our campus in San Marcos, CA.
Essential Job Functions/Tasks:
- Manages and catalogs time spent on projects for daily project updates as needed. Demonstrates comprehensive and reliable ownership of projects from start to completion.
- Works with teams, schedule resources as needed, is hands-on and self-reliant for gathering whatever is needed to arrange successful video productions involving Product Managers or other personal and items to film products or shots based on scripts or requests.
- Responsible for content planning, developing and implementation to keep project flow moving to meet deadlines.
- Leads video productions including pre-production videography, lighting, set management, script coordination, media management, gear management, vendor scheduling, shot list development and implementation and all post-production tasks as needed.
- Helps with creating digital assets, templates, libraries, and follows digital branding guidelines.
- Organizes and maintains multimedia files and products on local, server, and other external devices.
- Operates professional video cameras and related gear, handles and maintains video gear for studio or location setup and filming, confidently manages staging and lighting. Is experienced with script/shot list creation.
- Is the primary videographer. Plans and schedules productions, takes direction with positive attitude.
- Proactively communicates all concerns and questions professionally with any team or department member, to ensure projects get completed on time.
Education/Training Required and Preferred:
- Bachelors in Video Production, Video Editing, Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premier and other video editing postproduction techniques and skills.
Experience Required and Preferred:
- Two to five years of experience in videography production work and able to show portfolio or samples. Including Two to five years of experience in video editing and graphic software such as Final Cut Pro and Adobe software, and able to show portfolio or samples.
What You Bring:
- Knowledge with video editing software Final Cut Pro and Graphic program Adobe Photoshop, as well as image manipulation software Adobe Photoshop.
- Must be able to balance multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to multitask while maintaining professionalism and composure.
- Demonstrates Intellectual curiosity and enthusiasm for learning. Willing to learn and adapt to in-house practices and methods.
- Strong technical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and be self-sufficient when it comes to prioritizing deadlines.
- Must be able to collaborate well with others under tight deadlines. Must be self-reliant to handle all requirements without the need for micro-management.
- Professionally and positively communicate with people to keep upbeat attitude on productions, is extremely detail-oriented and able to learn and take direction.
- Excellent organizational skills a must.
- Expert knowledge of video cameras and all things related to filming productions.
- Expert knowledge and high level of proficiency with video production process.

The hourly rate for this opportunity ranges from $27.02 to $41.01
The Company complies with all federal/local/state regulations in regard to pay. The above represents the expected hourly range for this job requisition. Compensation offered to the successful candidate will be determined by qualifications, prior experience, other job-related factors, and geographic location.
