Video Game Designer Jobs

Idea Lab Kids offers an innovative educational program designed to instill fundamental STEAM (Science-Technology-Engineering-Art -Math), and Culinary concepts in students. Through the use of a proprietary curriculum, our programs create a fun learning environment in school age kids via enrichment programs, and camps. Our project and design based learning allows the kids to experience the Idea Lab style of enrichment that boosts their creativity, expands their imagination and develops essential critical thinking skills.

We are looking for SUMMER CAMP instructors to teach kids ages 6-12 CODING, ROBOTICS, CIRCUITRY. The classes will be at the Pearland campus.

*Curriculum will be provided.

The applicant needs to be an individual with excellent communication skills, child friendly attitude, ability to mange a group of kids ( about 10 -15 kids ) in a calm manner.

Along with some experience in Robotics/ Coding the applicant should be comfortable working with young kids.

This position offers great learning experience in a fun working environment.

The Robotics/Coding instructor's responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Be prepared for all the camps in advance
• Dependable means of transportation
• Punctuality is a must
• Maintain professional conduct while on campus
• DUE to COVID - 19 will have to follow safety protocols
• Teach the children to the best of their ability using the provided curriculum
• Ensure the Safety of the kids in the class

Education/Experience:

• Engineering Graduates/ Students (electrical/computer science/mechanical) or High school graduates with relevant Coding and/or Robotics experience.
• Knowledge of Java/ Python/ Machine Language/ Scratch/ Tynker and experience with arduino programming and building gadgets , 3D printing, website design will be preferred
• At least 6 months experience in Robotics/Coding or STEM
• Must be able to provide references

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Temporary, Internship

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
