Vice President - Travel Accounts

NYC PR agency is seeking a VP to manage travel accounts in its NYC office. This a full-time, in-person role. The agency is a full-service agency with offices in New York, Charleston, Houston, Atlanta, Tampa, Miami and Denver. Must have experience with Caribbean accounts.

Day-to-Day Activities:

• Develop plans and recommendations for clients, then execute with team support
• Manage junior account team members, provide mentorship
• Actively participate with fellow firm leaders across agency locations
• Create and implement tactical earned media strategies for accounts, including campaign activations, partnerships and thought leadership
• Participate in corporate agency business development activities and pitches

Talent/Experience:

• Solid understanding of the media landscape and proven success building lasting relationships with regional and national media
• BA/BS from a four-year accredited university

·Minimum of 6 years of experience. O

·Experience must include management-level experience with media, marketing, or communication organizations.

·Must have experience supervising or directing work teams.

• Strong writing skills (AP style), familiar PR software and Microsoft Office programs
• Understand and keep up to date with industry and competitive landscape knowledge
