Overview:
Job Summary:
- The Vice President, Posting Billing (Back End) will develop the strategy and deliver a best in class, standardized “Ventra Health” approach and delivery model for Ventra Health’s billing and collection services across all delegated service lines. Ensuring the ongoing success and continuous improvement of the company’s AR and Cash Management workflow and processes.
Essential Functions and Tasks:
- Continuously assesses and refines as necessary the workflow processes of client AR management and cash management services for Ventra Health.
- Develops the organizational framework for the optimal servicing of clients aligned with financial performance goals.
- Complies with all reimbursement and billing procedures for regulatory, third-party, and private insurance payers.
- Performs staff reviews and prepares performance documents for direct reports.
- Directs and maintains the required level of statutory, industry, and client contract compliance from onshore resources.
- Develops and implements a strategy for the delivery of services from offshore vendors/partners where appropriate and advantageous to Ventra Health and in compliance with client contractual obligations.
- Provides daily management and oversight to Revenue Cycle Management ensuring Ventra Health’s AR management services are consistently delivered across all operational centers; and that processes occur accurately and timely within assigned areas, holding personnel accountable for driving results.
- Plans, develops, and implements a workforce and production location strategy that enables optimal service delivery while balancing the company’s economic requirements, assuring that services are rendered with the highest integrity and ethical standards and in accordance with client contractual obligations.
- Provides overall leadership for the company’s client AR and cash management functions as described herein and as required by clients in accordance with contractual obligations and in compliance with applicable law.
- Manages, mentors, and engages teams and operations leaders to success.
- Develops specific objectives, budgets, and performance standards for each area of responsibility. Monitors cash flow to ensure achievement of goals
- Defines and delivers status on Key Performance Indicators related to all delegated service lines.
- Actively contributes to communications across the Client Services team and with the Chief Client Officer ensuring an effective and meaningful flow of information regarding clients’ operational performance.
- Defines and delivers the required production team performance necessary to achieve Ventra Health’s performance objectives.
- Serve as key advisor and active participant in all Ventra Health’s strategic business planning when required.
- In conjunction with the Senior Vice President of Operations and Client Services leadership, is accountable for meeting all client contractual obligations and reasonable performance expectations.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to oversee multiple priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field is required. An advanced degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Understand and comply with company policies and procedures.
- Basic knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Basic use of computer, telephone, Internet, copier, fax, and scanner.
- Touch -typing skills, 40 wpm required, 50 wpm preferred.
