Vice President of Operations

The VP of Operations is responsible for directing and maintaining the daily operations of the business to ensure that the company meets its strategic goals and objectives. This role involves coordinating with various departments, including human resources, legal, sales, marketing, manufacturing, accounting, and IT, to develop and implement policies and procedures that align with the company's culture and vision. The VP of Operations will work closely with the CEO and other members of leadership to define and implement effective manufacturing methods and optimal go-to-market strategies.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement policies for daily operations: The VP of Operations will be responsible for creating and communicating policies that promote the company's culture and vision. This role will work closely with department supervisors to ensure that policies are effectively implemented.
2. Translate strategy into actionable steps: The VP of Operations will use policy deployment or a similar approach to translate the company's strategic goals into actionable steps for all employees.
3. Work with the Sales team to develop revenue strategies: The VP of Operations will collaborate with the Sales team to develop long-term revenue strategies that align with the company's objectives.
4. Manage HR functions: The VP of Operations will work closely with HR leadership to ensure effective recruiting, onboarding, retention, and succession planning. This role will also work with the CEO to identify and recruit key positions to bolster future growth.
5. Manage system development and integration: The VP of Operations will be responsible for managing system development, integration, and change management protocols.
6. Analyze internal operations: The VP of Operations will analyze internal operations and work with the broader team to identify areas for process and cost improvement.
7. Manage investments and expenses: The VP of Operations will manage capital and other investments and expenses to ensure that company P&L targets are met or exceeded.
8. Define and implement manufacturing methods and go-to-market strategies: The VP of Operations will work with the CEO and other members of leadership to define and implement the most effective manufacturing methods and optimal go-to-market strategies.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field.
2. 10+ years of experience in a senior operations role.
3. Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
4. Experience in managing multiple departments and functions.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Proven track record of achieving business objectives.
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
8. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
9. Experience in developing and implementing policies and procedures.
10. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and go-to-market strategies.
