Job Description

Job title: Vice President of Sales (Fully Remote but must be based in the Southeast of the USA)

Compensation: $100,000–$150,000 basic (a successful and experienced candidate would be expected to make a six-figure commission bonus on top)

Locations: Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, Florida, and Alabama

Industry: Structural Steel


The Client:

Are you an experienced Sales Manager seeking to join a reputable, long-standing steelwork contractor? Our client is a leading provider of structural steel solutions across Maryland, and they are seeking a seasoned Structural Steel Sales Manager to join their growing team. This role is ideal for an aggressive and motivated individual with steelwork sales experience.


The Position:

Responsibilities:

• Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to achieve business objectives in the structural steel market. Identify target customers, markets, and opportunities for growth.

• Customer Relationship Management: Nurture and maintain strong relationships with key customers, general contractors, architects, and other stakeholders.

• Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including potential clients, projects, and markets.

• Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and manage sales teams, providing guidance, coaching, and support to maximize performance.


Requirements:

• Proven Sales Experience: A minimum of 4 years of successful sales experience in the structural steel industry or related field, with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets. Winning Structural Steel Packages with buildings i.e., Hotels, High Rises, Schools, Stadiums, Medical Centers etc.

• Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of structural steel products, manufacturing processes, and applications. Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.

• Customer Focus: Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Ability to understand customer needs, identify opportunities, and provide tailored solutions. Must have the ability to effectively present information, negotiate contracts, and build rapport with customers.
