In 2022, Indio reached approximately 140 multi-family residential communities consisting of close to 18,000 apartment units.

Our INTENT for hiring:
As the President of Operations, you will play a pivotal role in our company's growth and success. We are seeking a dynamic and visionary leader with a proven track record in overseeing large-scale multi-family property operations. This role requires exceptional strategic planning and execution skills to optimize property performance, ensuring long-term sustainability and profitability. The President of Operations will have the opportunity to leverage their expertise to help shape the future of our company.

A day IN the life:
  • Foster a culture of excellence and collaboration, ensuring effective communication and accountability between different departments and property teams.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders, including vendors, contractors, and community leaders.
  • Spearhead technology initiatives, ensuring the utilization of innovative platforms and tools to maximize operational efficiency and resident satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement best practices across all operational areas, including leasing, marketing, maintenance, and resident services.
  • Oversee all operational aspects of our multi-family properties, with a primary focus on driving revenue growth, cost control, and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor industry trends and market conditions, identifying potential risks and opportunities to adapt our business approach accordingly.
  • Collaborate with all internal/external support teams to identify new opportunities and feasibility studies for acquisitions and dispositions.
  • Provide strategic guidance and direction to the executive team, setting objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) for each department.

Qualities we are INTERESTED in:
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to read, interpret, and analyze financial statements and reports.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Deep understanding of market dynamics and trends in the multi-family property management industry.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
  • Outstanding leadership and team-building skills, with a passion for motivating and developing high-performing teams.
  • Proven track record of driving operational excellence, optimizing revenue generation, and implementing cost-saving strategies.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in the multi-family property management industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position overseeing a portfolio of similar size and complexity.
