Scope:
This position, reporting directly to the President, is responsible for strategic development of a corporate marketing plan to include foodservice. Experience in developing and executing a clearly defined marketing and communications strategy is critical for the company to effectively compete in the marketplace and to meet its over-all strategies of sales growth, and profitability with additional focus on foodservice. The ideal candidate will incorporate a marketing strategy to include, but not limited to, social media, trade shows, web-based media, and in-store point of purchase advertising. The ideal candidate will have 15-20 years of marketing and foodservice experience in roles of ever-increasing responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
· Work collaboratively with the executive team to establish, initiate, and execute a cohesive and robust marketing strategy.
· Develop short-term and long-term strategies to generate increasing customer count and gross margin.
· Establish a clear brand identity and ensure consistency across all outlets.
· Develop, with senior leadership, a marketing budget.
· Create tracking methods to establish success rates for all promotions.
· Manage the company’s expansion of foodservice.
· Establish consistent go to market strategy around food service to include marketing, brand development, quality control, cost control, and safety standards.
· Perform P&L reviews regularly and adjust when needed.
· Manage the company’s brand messaging across multiple geographic markets by incorporating various social media campaigns on multiple platforms.
· Identify, interpret, and capitalize on emerging marketing trends.
· Create a network of business partners to enable joint marketing opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Background in QSR/Restaurant/Foodservice operations and marketing
- Extensive knowledge of PDI software
- Experience in multiple-media marketing
- Strong forecasting and analytical experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related academic field required
- Background in strategic plan development
- Ability to travel up to 70% of the time
