Vice President Of Engineering

We are seeking an accomplished and visionary Vice President of Engineering to lead the development and execution of our cutting-edge crypto payment architecture. As a key member of our executive team, you will be responsible for shaping our technical strategy, driving innovation, and building a high-performing engineering organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Oversee the successful delivery of engineering projects, ensuring timelines, quality, and budget goals are met.
• Technical Leadership: Define and execute the technical vision, strategy, and roadmap for our crypto payment architecture, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry trends.
• Innovation: Stay at the forefront of blockchain and crypto payment advancements. Identify opportunities to enhance our offerings and drive competitive differentiation.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product, design, and business teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Ensure effective communication and alignment across departments.
• Technical Excellence: Maintain a strong commitment to code quality, security best practices, and software engineering standards.
• Team Building: Recruit, mentor, and manage a world-class engineering team. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
• Architecture Design: Lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and efficient crypto payment solutions. Drive the evolution of our technology stack.

Requirements:

• Results-oriented: A history of delivering high-quality software products on time and within budget.
• Innovation and Vision: Demonstrated ability to drive technical innovation and anticipate industry trends. Proven experience in shaping technical roadmaps and strategies.
• Blockchain Expertise: Deep understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrency protocols, and decentralized systems. Prior experience with crypto payment solutions is highly desirable.
• Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor engineering teams. Experience in managing remote or distributed teams is a plus.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven Experience: 10+ years of senior-level engineering experience, with a track record of leading successful development projects and teams.

Compensation: This is a C-level position with compensation in equity only, with no salary until after our next successful funding round. The right candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to our overall company strategy and success, and be rewarded accordingly.
