Position: Vehicle Integration Engineering Intern:

You will be working for an organization that values a strong collaboration between all operations functions to ensure we are designing optimal manufacturing processes that are safe, cost effective, reliable and maintainable.

CZV is currently seeking a Vehicle Integration Engineering Intern to work alongside our engineering team as we progress the productonization of a 1st of its kind hypercar. In this position, you will be working on the design and release of Powertrain Systems, Chassis Systems, Body Systems components and subsystems. Responsibilities will include creating CAD models and drawings, creating and populating the Bill of Materials (BOM), working with supply chain to source parts, working with the production team to assemble parts on the vehicle, and completing validation tests to verify robust designs.

What You’ll Do:

• Designing fixtures for manufacturing of new components
• Generate fabrication detail drawings using geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
• Releasing designs for manufacturing
• Supporting and participating in system development testing
• Create CAD geometry of components and perform structural analysis thereof
• Create and maintain subsystem bill of materials
• Work on a cross functional team to develop targets and execute design and development tasks

Who You Are:

• Knowledge of vehicle systems
• Ability to thrive and deliver goals and objectives in a quick moving, startup environment
• Experience with Siemens NX or similar CAD software preferred but not required
• Solid interpersonal and communications skills
• Passionate about cars
• Minimum of 3yrs towards BS in Mechanical Engineering or similar field. MS/PhD candidates also welcome
• Formula SAE or other collegiate design competition veterans are strongly favored
• Travel Requirements: 10%. Incudes supplier visits and occasional travel to support test trips
