Your role
The VP, Data Analytics is responsible for providing leadership, innovation, and oversight across functional areas to improve overall analytic capabilities and scalability. This individual will ensure that the data analytics function to produce the data sets required to inform and develop insights and strategies for operational and business initiatives. The VP, Data Analytics will develop and plan strategic and quantitative analysis to achieve the organization’s missions and goals.
What You'll Do
- Creating algorithms prototypes based on project specifications, running tests to assess AI performance, and analyzing data gathered to identify strengths and weaknesses of AI.
- Guide the artificial intelligence (AI) team to leverage data sets that generate and develop algorithms capable of learning and making predictions to help guide the business.
- Develops advanced analytic strategies and tolls to support long range vision that fully leverage business unit data assets.
- Support the teams in resolving complex technology data, and process-based issues, gaps, and risks to then be considered when applying for future modeling.
- Utilize and maintain data models to understand, forecast strategies, and identify gaps to lead in the company’s future growth opportunities.
- Develop and oversee data analysis efforts to produce accurate, efficient, and timely data reporting models, including financial reporting metrics, ad hoc reports, and/or special reports for internal and external meetings.
- Creates, establishes, and helps implement financial best practices, streamline efficiencies, and project enhancements.
- Oversee all reporting and data requirements for each assigned business unit, including various functions for new and existing operations.
- Partner with operational leadership teams to design and implement workflow optimization and automation processes through key facets of the organization.
- Define data standards and deploy automation tools to obtain and process data from different sources ensuring cohesive uniformity of information is applied.
- Interface with financial teams including treasury, finance, and accounting to ensure all criteria and requirements are met that closely align with the business needs of the company.
Education, Work-Experience, and Other Requirements
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field (required)
- Travel requirements of up to 25%.
- Minimum of 10 years of data analysis, data science, and information systems experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Expertise Needed
- Excellent stakeholder management and strong influencing, negotiating, and executive level communication skills.
- High-level project and process management
- Strong financial management and reporting skills including familiarity with finance and accounting terminology.
- Healthcare experience is a plus.
- Legally allowed to work in the United States
- Strong analytic skills
- Must sign a non-disclosure/confidentiality agreement.
- Knowledge of business and financial processes, procedures, and processes.
- Must maintain clean background screening, drug screening and driving record.
- Expert in using data to training models.
- Strong implementation system experience.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team developing strong, positive working relationships across the organization.
