Salary: $140-155,000 + bonus up to 10% of salary based on company and department performance

We are seeking a Vice President of Software Engineering to lead product engineering and application development. The VP will work directly with senior leaders in engineering/development teams to deliver quality cutting edge technology across all platforms. This role reports to the CIO.

What you'll do..

Manage all product focused engineering teams & outside vendors.

Deliver executive reporting across systems and initiatives.

Develop a highly performant engineering culture and SDLC following agile methodologies, processes, and best practices.

Identify organizational staffing needs and work with recruiting to hire a diverse team to meet department needs.

Evaluate and manage vendor relationships, contracts, and work.

Coordinate with product and operations teams on product issues that impact the customer experience, and develop long term solutions.

Collaborate across the company to effectively communicate engineering strategic plans to internal stakeholders, manage feedback, and adjust priorities appropriately.

Deliver risk assessment, management, and mitigation plans associated with ongoing product releases.

Who you are…

7-10 years' experience operating in software engineering, and 7-10 years as a manager, 5+ of which as a senior leader or executive, 5+ years working in banking, finance, investments, or similar industries.

Must have deep knowledge around distributed systems at a large scale.

Experience owning systems handling more than 1 million transactions per second.

Experience with public speaking, and representing the company at conferences and events.

Demonstrated success growing engineering organizations.

Ability to work effectively with deeply technical partners, business stakeholders, and operational teams to organize, influence, and align them toward the best product outcomes.
