We are seeking a mission-driven, results-oriented marketing leader with a passion for driving business growth. The Vice President of Marketing is a critical leadership position at Millennium Physician Group and is responsible for all marketing related activities. The ideal candidate is a business builder with a strong strategic mindset and the ability to execute, a rigorous quantitative approach to marketing, experience building and leading high-performing teams, and a proven track record of success in developing and executing marketing strategies, including brand development, digital marketing, internal and external communications, and sales support including events, lead generation, reporting, and campaign lifecycle optimization.


In This Role, You Will


  • Be the corporate owner of organic growth targets, strategies, and execution in collaboration with the operations, Value-Based Care, and Business Development/Sales teams
  • Relentlessly track marketing strategies' impact and ROI
  • Work to develop a full year marketing calendar
  • Build data-driven patient insights and research capability to develop a deep understanding of patient behavior to inform, create and optimize marketing programs.
  • Enhance our storytelling ability by bringing our brand and values to life - including through content, communications, and engagement initiatives
  • Successfully manage agency relationships to ensure that advertising and promotional initiatives are breakthrough, cost-effective, drive ROI and are consistent with the organization's overall strategy
  • In partnership with human resources, develop and promote our employer value proposition to attract and retain world-class talent, including physicians, advanced providers, and both clinical and non-clinical staff
  • Execute world class advertising creative and programming to fully bring the brand to life
  • Drive ideation, pipeline development and brand design to ensure the brand stays ahead of the competition
  • Develop a comprehensive engagement strategy in partnership with the patient engagement team that ultimately drives new patient and revenue growth at scale
  • Develop highly targeted marketing activation plans that reflect the overarching vision and goals for the organization, and within specific markets (i.e., Direct Mail, SMS, e-mail, brand intercepts/sampling, sponsorships, targeted advertising/media, etc.)
  • Lead the development of the overall Marketing strategy, patient and employer brand positioning, key messaging, creative assets, and brand guidelines
  • Manage the overall marketing budget
  • Develop and track metrics and success criteria for all marketing program activities
  • Own and oversee customer segmentation, profiling, persona building and identification
  • Identify and implement technologies, in concert with our technology team, to support the overall efforts and plans of the marketing team
  • Build both a growth-oriented marketing team and foster their continued learning and development creating internal expertise; select and leverage external resources to effectuate marketing plan goals and objectives
  • Build a strategic marketing plan with innovative campaigns that are driven by performance and influencer marketing, creative, online & offline efforts, brand & direct marketing, as well as community building which attract new patients and serves to improve patient engagement


This Role Is Perfect For You If You Have


  • The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities cross functionally in a very fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA preferred
  • Experience in a highly strategic role but able to focus on getting things done and "roll up your sleeves"
  • Experience in value-based healthcare or physician-led practices preferred
  • Experience managing and leading a team of cross-functional marketing professionals, to bring together a lead generation strategy that drives results
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing leadership roles, including digital marketing, events and campaign lifecycle optimization
  • Experience with change management and leading a team during times of intense change within an organization, while delegating to a team and holding them accountable
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights, especially in digital marketing, events, lead generation, reporting, and campaign lifecycle optimization spaces
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing programs, including digital programs, brand execution, reporting, and campaign lifecycle optimization
