Vice President - Global Communications - Food/Consumer.

NYC based. In-office 4 days a week.

They are looking for an experienced Vice President of Global Communications to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading all aspects of our global communications strategy, including brand management, media relations, crisis communications, and internal communications. The Vice President of Global Communications will work closely with senior leadership to ensure alignment with company objectives and provide strategic counsel on communications matters.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a global communications strategy that aligns with the company's objectives

Manage all aspects of the company's brand, including messaging, positioning, and visual identity

Oversee all media relations, including proactive outreach and reactive crisis communications

Develop and manage a global network of media contacts and influencers

Work closely with senior leadership to provide strategic counsel on communications matters

Create and execute an internal communications strategy that engages employees and drives a strong company culture

Manage and develop a team of communications professionals

Monitor and analyze trends in the food industry and adjust the communications strategy as needed

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field

10+ years of experience in communications, with a focus on brand management and media relations

Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and develop a team of communications professionals

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely

Proven ability to develop and execute a global communications strategy

Experience working in the food industry or related field is preferred

Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Willingness to travel as needed
