HyperGuest, a dynamic and fast-growing travel-tech company, is hiring to expand and market itsgame-changing distribution and commerce technology for the global hotel industry. We are looking for a VP of business development for the North America region, working with hotel chains as well as travel demand companies (tour operators, OTAs, TMCs, agencies, consortia etc).
To excel in this role you should have a compelling sales personality, be an active listener and possess a hunger to chase and close new business with a hunter mentality. You will need a proven track record in leading sales processes with the large hotel & demand groups.You should thrive in a global start up environment and work closely with the international team.
Responsibilities:
- Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities
- Developing quotes and proposals for clients
- Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones
- Developing goals and business growth and ensuring they are met
- Engaging hotel groups to initiate relationship and close business
- Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events
- Engaging travel demand businesses to initiate and close business
- Finding and developing new markets and improving sales
Qualifications
- Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task
- Strong familiarity with the hotel & demand industry and key players - Mandatory
- Experience in sales with large and medium hotels chains/networks
- Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Excellent organizational skills
