KidsFolio is a non-profit startup founded by educators, running successfully for over a year. As part of our core belief in using the arts to empower children, we offer affordable enrichment art services in Hudson County, New Jersey. This fall, we want to expand our services and facilities to daycare, after-school, and weekend creative learning centers.

We are looking for a Volunteer VP of Marketing. The ideal candidate will be a college student seeking experience working on an established non-profit startup. This is a non-paid position.

Job brief

We seek a marketing college student to direct and oversee our Marketing department. You will design, implement and monitor effective marketing strategies that align with our business goals.

We are looking for someone who majors in marketing and is eager to expand with our startup. This position requires creating promotional campaigns from beginning to end, including paid advertising campaigns and digital marketing. Along with the CEO and COO, our VP of Marketing will be a team leader. Professionalism is essential for this role. In addition, you should take an active part in shaping the company's strategic plan. Ultimately, your actions as VP of Marketing will contribute to the company's long-term success.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement a cohesive marketing plan to increase brand awareness

Set current and long-term goals for internal teams

Design and review the Marketing department's budget

Build relationships with media

Monitor all marketing campaigns and improve them when necessary

Prioritize marketing projects and allocate resources accordingly

Conduct market analysis to identify challenges and opportunities for growth

Provide guidance and ideas to organize influential marketing events

Forecast hiring needs for the Marketing department

Participate in the quarterly and annual planning of the company's objectives
