Vice President, Human Resources

QCR Holdings is looking for a VP, Human Resources to join our Human Resources team! This position can be located in Moline, IL, Des Moines, IA, or Cedar Rapids, IA. This individual will be responsible for human resource management including hiring, onboarding, engagement, employee relations, and organization development. They will originate human resource practices and objectives that will provide a balanced program throughout the organization. Advises and partners with HR Director on human resource strategy and implementation. This is a holding company position with oversight of the above areas at four independently chartered banks.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or other related field, or equivalent experience is required. HR Certification is preferred, and at least 10 years' experience in human resources management with broad knowledge of employment, compensation, employee relations, and training and development is required. Must have demonstrated strong supervisory, leadership, and coaching skills, previous experience managing remote employees, excellent verbal and written communication skills and superior interpersonal and conflict resolution skills. Additional qualifications include excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to establish credibility and be decisive - but be able to recognize and support the organization's preferences and priorities, and be results and people oriented, and have sound judgement with the ability to balance other business considerations. Some travel is required.
