The Wyndham Destinations Marketing Contact Center is growing and we are currently hiring motivated and driven sales service professionals to work in our Activations Department as a Activations Sales Representative. You will love working in our brand new state of the art Vacation Contact Center or working remotely with a supportive leadership team who is invested in YOU and YOUR success! What is an Activations Sales Representative?
As an Activations Sales Representative, you will be making outbound follow-up calls to guests who have purchased a timeshare promotional vacation getaway but have not yet booked their dates. Your salesmanship and customer service techniques will be put to great use in this role as you will be helping guests plan their vacation while ensuring that they meet all eligibility requirements for the promotional offer. The results of your efforts will help to deliver on arrivals, increase revenue for the department and guarantee tour volume for the resorts.
Who Are We Looking For?
Our ideal candidate displays great sales skills and quick thinking in convincing our customers to book dates by overcoming early interruptions to keep guests on the phone and objections to booking dates on the call. Displays clear and persuasive communication skills and is sales and service minded. We are looking for someone who possesses a positive, outgoing, professional demeanor, someone who is driven and self-motivated, detailed oriented and able to work independently. What are the Hours?
Work schedule will include a combination of weekdays, nights and weekends. Full availability is required. Current hours of operations are as follows and subject to change based on business needs.
- Saturday, 10:00am to 3:00pm based on business needs
- Monday thru Friday, 11:00am to 10:00pm
Qualifications
- Customer Service, Reservations, Hospitality or equivalent experience required
- Ability to work flexible shifts to include weekdays, evenings and weekends to suit business needs
- Proficient working with Microsoft Office is preferred
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of Sales experience required
- Call Center experience preferred
Remote / Work from Home Opportunity Requirements:
- Dedicated office/work space away from noise and distractions
- Must have a high speed internet connection and modem
