What you'll do...

The People Tech Talent Team is looking for an Engineer with expertise in Application development using Java , Spring boot and Microservice technologies. This is a hands-on role which would need coding expertise along with business or domain knowledge and good communication skills. As a member of our dynamic team, you will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge user interfaces that enhance the user experience for our global workforce.

About Team

Our team is focused on developing a streamlined, dependable company that includes service operations and technology solutions for People and Associates using GTA platform. We also provide a variety of services such as Time and attendance services, Clocking Services, Data Pipelines for analytics and Payroll modernization.

What You'll Do

• Collaboration and Communication: Engage in effective communication with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and backend developers. Participate in agile development processes, providing valuable insights and actively contributing to sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• System Design: Work closely with Architects and Product managers to understand user requirements and translate them into practical and scalable designs. Employ your creative problem-solving skills to find innovative solutions that balance usability, functionality, and aesthetic appeal.
• Code Quality and Testing: Write clean, modular, and maintainable code using industry best practices. Conduct thorough unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing to ensure high-quality software delivery. Collaborate with QA engineers to identify and resolve any issues or bugs.
• Application Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement responsive and intuitive features for GTA applications. Use your expertise in back-end technologies such as Java, Spring boot, Microservices, SQL technologies.
• Innovation and Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with the latest technology trends, and industry best practices. Proactively identify opportunities to improve existing Application frameworks, tools, and processes. Share knowledge and mentor junior team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and growth.

What You'll Bring

• Familiarity with System design patterns and best practices.
• Experience in microservice development using Spring boot
• Solid understanding of responsive design principles and mobile optimization techniques.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently, with a focus on delivering high-quality results within established timelines.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Application development.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
• Proficiency in version control systems, such as Git.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Passion for learning and keeping up with the latest advancements in Application development and technology.
• Strong proficiency in back-end technologies such as Java, Spring boot, Microservices, SQL technologies.

The annual salary range for this position is $91,000.00-$156,000.00

Additional Compensation Includes Annual Or Quarterly Performance Incentives.

Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:
