Coordinate and facilitate training for the department. This includes training for, and is not limited to: onboarding, processes, tools, and enterprise wide concepts. Develop and implement activities to support retention of material covered and monitor proficiency to contribute to the professional growth of associates.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

  • Regular associates receive 9 paid holidays in 2023.
  • Regular associates are provided sick leave through the use of personal time. Associates working 40 hours a week can receive up to 56 hours of personal time in 2023, prorated based on the start date.
  • 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match.
  • Regular associates working 40 hours a week can earn up to 15 days of vacation each year.
  • Hourly Wage: $24.00 - $31.00, plus annual bonus opportunity


WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Continually review learning methods, strategies and outcomes to improve effectiveness and efficiency within our learning to achieve better results and outcomes. This could encompass, and is not limited to, associate education, development, growth and skill acquisition.
  • Coordinate and provide training and onboarding programs for the department, ensuring that staff is proficient with the knowledge, skills and abilities to be successful for our customers. Maintains a training environment that is conducive for learning. Monitors the pace of learning delivery to meet the needs of our associates, business area and customers. Answers questions, provides feedback, and prepares reports supporting associates, their learning and progress. Ensure all learning is reviewed for accuracy, consistency and updated timely. Maintain an active communication cadence with all leaders regarding learning facilitation, delivery and progress of associates.
  • Identifies performance, attendance, and behavior with associates attending learning. partnering with HR leaders, as appropriate. Perform evaluations for associate proficiency and accuracy. Maintain training records and assessment scores. Provide regular coaching and feedback to the participants of training classes and their HR leader.
  • Represent our division on any project, committee or other activity that might result in a need to plan and execute learning in support of our associate and business growth. Utilize a method like ADDIE to ensure adoption and proficiency.
  • Actively participates in testing, learning input and development of learning output as a result of tools developed to support under associates and products. Provide learning materials and facilitation for all impacted associates as a result of the development of our new tools.
  • Prepare reports for use by leaders to assist in evaluating associate performance, in support of daily management and future learning development.
  • Develop, update and/or maintain training materials to support associate development and functions of our division. Revise training procedures and related documentation, as needed. Recommend curriculum and course evaluations that measure training effectiveness. Collaborate with different teams and associates to accomplish assigned tasks or projects.
  • A subject matter expert in insurance and adult learning principles. Remains abreast of the competitive insurance environment, new and complex products, and the constantly changing legislation that governs the business.


WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Strong ability to handle aspects of role self-sufficiently
  • Ability to operate a personal computer with a strong technical background and ability to use various software packages.
  • Broad knowledge of insurance industry and strong understanding of corporate and division policies, practices and procedures.
  • Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.
  • Strong planning, organizational, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving with a continual improvemnt mindset.
  • You promote a culture of diversity and inclusion, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do.
  • Experience in the development of training materials, procedures and the delivery of effective training in a variety of environments.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Proficient in adult learning principles and various methodologies for effective adult learning in a hybrid environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills effective in buidling rapport and building trust with leaders and associates.


VALUABLE EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience with analysis and reporting
  • Experience: 2-3 years of life and/or health insurance experience
